Or even if all they did was have a simple clock down in the corner that showed PST time, and possibly local time next to it. Then you could just tell people it starts at 12:00 on their PST clock.

T'would also keep those "You have been playing for 10 hours. For the love of god, please take a break" messages from being such a surprise.

anywayz, I hope the devs implemented this for the next big event, and if not, then hopefully they do it in GW2.
And if A-net did put a visual PST clock, ppl can just do the math from there (-7 PST or whatever they choose next).

Meh /signed.
I live in +12/+13 depending on daylight savings saves me having to brain every time I want to know how long till something happens.
Same as AT and MAT for HB and GVG aswell thnx kekek

Actually besides the Events idea I sugest just a Server time/date based on (PDT/PST) and it is added near the ping
button would make so much easer for those of us not in that timezone or trying to work out
who has savings time or not that always gets me confused.
You would just mouse over it and see what time it is there and you know your own time already.
OR when it says you been playing for 1 or 2 etc hours just add the server time on the end.
